About the Game
Take charge of a Survivor team and harness its members’ unique skills to achieve victory against the masses of unthinking, blood craving zombies! Choose your team members among twelve Survivors and lead them with Team Actions. Launch an assault against zombie nests in towns, haunted camps, and even hospitals. However, the team must constantly keep the balance between survival and slaughter. As the zombicide continues, the “Danger level” is going up and infected are growing in numbers. Any misstep can turn to disaster. But now multiple teams must survive and battle not only hordes and nests of zombies, but each other as well in the new PvP gameplay! Designed as a standalone game, it is fully compatible with all other Zombicide products.
Competition for Survival
Players’ teams can go toe-to-toe to see which set of Survivors really deserve to survive! If the zombie apocalypse isn’t horrifying enough for you, prepare to face off against the deadliest foe yet: other Survivors! Supplies are scarce, so teams are pitted against each other in the brutal Competitive Mode. Weapons like bows, chainsaws, Molotov cocktails, shotguns and urban maces can be found anywhere, quickly turning the battle deadly.

- Rue Morgue introduces a terrifying new zombie type: the Skinner Zombie! Make sure you put these zombies down hard, otherwise something might come crawling for you. And don’t forget the new, big bad: the A-Bomb Abomination! The A-Bomb is an Abomination so twisted and mutated that its elongated arms can drag you back to it as you try to escape! You’ll want to get your hands on the vicious new weapons available to Survivors in Rue Morgue, like bows, knives, and AK-47s! If you prefer to cleave with the classics, Rue Morgue also hosts a large roster of old standbys from previous Zombicide games like chainsaws and shotguns!
Teams to Survive
With all these new foes, you’re going to need to team up if you want to survive!! Rue Morgue introduces teams into the Zombicide franchise! Players pick from the largest pool of survivors and form teams to scavenge, loot, and kill zombies! If you really want to shred through the shuffling dead, you’ll first need to make sure your team has skills that complement each other well and lead them with Team Actions. Team Action cards allow survivors of the same team to execute a single action simultaneously, simulating military-like moves born from bloody experience. Shower that zombie horde with a rain of bullets as your entire team opens fire at once!
